Oak House offers residents support to enable them to have a carefree and fulfilling life. Residents can come and go as they please and chose where and when they eat.
Our chefs cook three fresh, homemade and nutritious meals every day and regularly review and change the menus for variety. We also cater for individual requirements and therapeutic diets to ensure our residents get the nutrition they need. Drinks and snacks are readily available throughout the day and night; residents can help themselves or ask a member of staff.
On special occasions, such as birthdays, we make birthday cakes complete with candles and during celebratory times of the year, such as Christmas or Easter, we make traditional foods to celebrate.
All rooms are carefully equipped with mobility aids and a Nurse Call System for maximum comfort and safety. As you would expect with residential care, we also provide daily care, including help with bathing and dressing if required and regular bedroom cleaning.

Dedicated Activities Organiser coordinate a wide range of exciting and stimulating activities both inside and outside the home.
Books & Games
At Oak House we can provide you with various books, games. We can also provide you with a daily newspaper if you request it.
Mobile Shop
At the Oak House there is a weekly internal mobile shop which sells sweets, toiletries, and other essential items.
Hairdresser & Chiropodist
We also have a weekly hairdresser and chiropodist that come and visit the Oak House.
Personal Care
At Oak House we can provide assistance with daily personal care (washing and dressing) if required.
Laundry & Cleaning
We provide a full laundry and room cleaning service.
Religious & Cultural Activities
Support of all religious and cultural activities. Holy Communion is regularly held for those wishing to take part. Church in Wales services are also arranged according to requirements.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome any time and can enjoy light refreshments throughout the duration of their visit.
